Competition Information: 

General Information:

Entry - Participants must have a valid entry to Collector Con 2024.

Age:  Entrants must be at least 13 years old. Those under 13 may enter with an accompanying adult.

Keep it PG-13: This is a PG-13-rated event. No profane language or symbolism, questionable/lewd poses, mature models/kits, and/or depictions of excessive violence allowed. Entries displaying the above or other questionable entries as deemed by staff will be disqualified from entry. All entries must comply with the Collector Con's Code of Conduct. Collector Con retains the right to disqualify participants who violate these rules.

Categories & Rules:

• Standard 1/144: Open to any standard assembly builds, no modifying allowed.

• Open 1/144: Anything goes provided it fits into size bracket. Modifying, kitbashing, scratch building are all permitted and will be judged accordingly.

• Standard 1/100: will include anything 1/100 sized or larger (1/60 etc). Limited to out of box only, no modifications.

• Open 1/100: Anything goes, 1/100 scale or larger. Mods, scratch building, kitbashing etc will all be allowed and you will be judged on these things should you choose to include them

Prizes:

Each category will have one winner with the highest scoring kit/model receiving the grand prize.

 
The judging will be on a 3 category basis: assembly quality, paint quality, and creativity.
Prizes will be awarded per entry, not per person.

If there are an unfit amount of kits/models submitted to each category, the judges may forgo the designated categories and the 4 highest scoring kits as deemed by the judges will receive prizes instead.

Submission Dates:

Builds must be submitted at the event with the Vanpla team on Friday or Saturday before 2:30pm to be judged. Winners will be announced at 4pm on the main stage. Winners that are unavailable at the designated award time will be contacted by members of staff to claim their prizes. Please ensure contact information is complete and up to date.
